Solar Cookers - Cooking with the Sun!

Solar Cooking - the Sun Cookers Force!

You have a couple of options of solar cookers:

1. A large parabolic solar cooker that is heavy, hard to move and very dangerous. They are hard to setup, need constant adjustment & can blind you instantly - but they do get very hot and can cook very quickly.
2. A cheaply made solar cooker that may work to some degree. You may be limited in what you can cook & it may take a long time, food may have to be eaten straight away and the oven may not last more than a year or two but it should be fairly cheap to make.
3. A 'home-made' sun oven. Many, many designs can be found by a simple search on the internet. They will all 'cook' with the sun but only to a small degree. If you want to experiment with many designs & glues (that may or may not be toxic) & maybe ruin a lot of food trying to get it right - that is up to you. For some (though very few) this hassle & cost can be acceptable but often only short-lived.
4. A GLOBAL SUN OVEN ! A Solar Cooker that will last for years and actually do what it is meant to (COOK!) in safety, style and with speed.

The choice (in our opinion) is easy. The SUN OVEN presents the best value for money of all available solar cookers worldwide. We continually research new devices and products - and are continually amazed by the Sun Oven.

While the energy conversion principles are the same for most solar cookers, the materials utilized in manufacturing a GLOBAL SUN OVEN® have been carefully researched to include the most efficient materials available. In order to capture the maximum amount of energy, achieve the highest possible temperature, and retain the greatest amount of heat possible, while minimizing the weight, the materials utilized have been selected based on efficiency and quality

Buying a SUN OVEN is an investment - not only for your cooking pleasure & nutritional intake, but an investment into the lives of many people in the developing world and the environment!

Developing Countries: The most often cited reason for the failure of Solar Cooking projects is that most people in eat their main meal of the day after sundown. Food cooked in most solar cooking devices must be consumed immediately, or it will become cold. Another reason solar cooking has not been widely accepted is that most solar cookers require more time to cook than cooking over a wood fire. The SUN OVEN addresses both of these issues, being well insulated it keeps food hot long after the sun goes down and cooks in the same amount of time as cooking over a traditional three stone wood fire

Western Countries: Most suburban 'city' dwellers are skeptical of anything that may take more effort or time for the results. Space is often a concern especially for travelling, while safety is of utmost inportance. The SUN OVEN again addresses these issues completely. The SUN OVEN is compact & easy to travel with, safe, easy to use (once you are used to cooking with it you will find it quicker & easier than your electric / gas oven) and cooks in only around the same time.

The SUN OVEN comes with fold-down reflectors, self-levelling floor, built in adjusting foot, thermometer and is easy to fold down & carry. So you can try one out - go to the link to the left & use the code "I Need the Bread of Life" when you complete your order to save $$ on your order - enough to include a free Roasting Dish!
